Sebastian, born in 1989 in Aarhus.
Sebastian's love for film stems from a need to understand other people. Complex behavior patterns and social constructions have led him to explore the human mind and present his discoveries on the canvas.
He believes that the paramount task of a screenwriter is to be able to take abstract ideas, philosophical questions, and thought dilemmas and make them as concrete as possible. To bring them down to a human perspective where situations become recognizable, allowing us to become emotionally invested. From there, the film can take off and easily end up with a more blurred and experimental end result. It all depends on the individual director's vision.
Sebastian's future goals include creating broad film experiences for the whole family, and he is not afraid to be commercial. He firmly believes that films can be both artistic and innovative while still being easily digestible and relatable. Sebastian is interested in spreading an understanding of human dynamics and making it accessible to an audience that may not necessarily watch niche cinema.
Over time, Sebastian has worked in various formats, including children's fiction, short films, series, and most recently a documentary, for which he received production support from NDS at the end of 2023.
Sebastian lives in Vesterbro with his girlfriend and their cat, Vandpyt.
