Born in 1998 in Copenhagen. From childhood, Maja Klit, had a big interest in telling stories, and at the youth film school Station Next, she became sure that it was in the film industry she belonged. Producing appealed to her in particular, as she has the flair to launch projects, facilitate creative processes and see the social value of a project.
Maja's big vision as a film producer is to work with films that unite people across gender, age, nationality and political beliefs. She loves films that challenge our collective basis of existence and shift our, at times, navel-gazing worldview. She lives and breathes to understand world history with all its nooks and crannies, and through new perspectives make history more nuanced.
Maja's sharp focus as a producer is to put repressed narratives in a modern perspective. It is the collective collaboration and process, from the first idea to the very last touches, that Maja is really passionate about. She is a team player and a steady rock.
Maja has worked freelance in the film industry since 2018 and worked for 2 years at the Danish Film School as a production manager and production assistant. Today she works at Isaac Production alongside Super16.
