Nat efter nat arbejder Erik alene i sit bageri. Her er hans eneste selskab natradioen, som han ihærdigt forsøger at komme igennem til for at blive “ugens joker”. Familien er efterhånden kommet så langt på afstand, at Eriks forsøg på at genetablere kontakten synes forgæves. En depression tager til og sender Erik ud af en tangent, der kulminerer i et desperat råb om hjælp.
Gustav lives with his parents and works at their pig farm. All of his spare time he uses in front of the computer. Here he is part of a closed, online chat room, where peers socialize and support each other, but also share grim content and challenges each other's limits. When Gustav is challenged to film himself committing a violent and obscene act, he suddenly finds himself in a dilemma: Because on the same day Daniel, the new employee who is the same age as Gustav, arrives. And for the first time in a long time, Gustav experiences a new opportunity and interest in making and maintaining a meaningful social relation to another person close to him.
After the death of their father, Sigurd wants to bury the hatchet and forgive his half siblings, Astrid and Jens, for how they treated him as kids. But this does not go as planned, as Astrid and Jens do not believe they've done anything that warrants forgiveness. Sigurd feels snubbed and realizes that what he actually wants is an apology but this demand only escalates an already tense situation and before long, they start to fall into old habits, revisiting childhood traumas.
